Tre Doozy has been grinding in his music career for some years now. He went from just starting to get his name out there to lining-up and going on tour with some of Atlanta’s iconic artists such as Dae Dae and Cee Lo Green. He is well known for his freestyle covers, hosting parties with his.J.DJ Lotto Ced, and his most recenE.P.sPs: ‘This Aint That’ and ‘Fly on Mondays’ which are out on all platforms. It was a pleasure getting a more in-depth insight on his path as we discuss the label LFSB, platform Artists 2 Watch, being connected with other artists, his different aspirations besides music, and advice on following one’s dreams.
Doozy has been rapping since he was in 7th grade but started to project himself as an artist once he reached 10th grade. He is big on creating a “real vibe” in his music. His major influences in his career are Rocko and Young Thug. We also go on to discuss the label he is a part of, which is called LFSB Productions. This label is a family-oriented organization that not only supports artists, but photographers, videographers, editors, party promoters, producers, YouTubers, and notably mentioned, his DJ. He also contributed different ideas to his family’s platform, Artist 2 Watch, where upcoming artists can share their talent as well.
Next, we discussed the joy in connecting with other artists and the type of feedback he received along his musical journey. Doozy has been able to connect with so many other artists in Atlanta, and recently Tampa, through studio time, music videos, or merely having common interests. For the most part, when connecting with other people in his field, he notes that “its ALWAYS loves”. So far, he has made songs with a few other upcoming artists like Jaybo4GN, KayGee, and Jon Gotti. Along with the people he has worked with, I asked Doozy can he reflect on a time where he has received any feedback that has stuck with him. Doozy says, “When I met T.I..I, he told me it is all about staying focused and do not stop working. After that, I just keep going with everything I do. Can’t let up.”
Without a doubt, Tre Doozy has witnessed significant growth in his craft and really appreciates the people who support him, because it means a lot. His support comes from family, friends, and people worldwide: United Kingdom, South Africa, Canada, Emory, Netherlands, Japan, and India. Doozy suggests to anyone who wants to put their creativity out there for the world to see should “learn whatever it is you are trying to do and to believe in yourself.” In the future, we can expect more visuals from him, and he also foresees himself working with artists like Rylo Rodriguez, Peewee Longway, Trouble, Young Thug, No Cap, and Seddy Hendrix. Besides music, he aspires to make films depicting real-life situations.
